In this post, I'm not going to touch on YOUR purpose in life but about what isn't your purpose in life. Finding one's purpose can always be a difficult task but how about we reverse engineer things and see what your purpose isn't.
It isn't working a job you hate but continue anyway, while your hobbies and passions take the back seat. It isn't climbing a societal ladder to match the salary your age mates are on. It isn't feeling unsettled and wanting more. It isn't things; cars, clothes, homes, holidays. It isn't paying off debt for shit we didn't need in the first place. It isn't all those things that remove the balance from your soul. It isn't all those things we do to please other people. It isn't conforming to the life model set before us; the one size fits all model that we're expected to join.
What is it? It's all those things you love, its that talent you've been given. That gift from above which has been teased to you throughout your entire life. Ready for you. That door which you know is there but are afraid to open. That thing which excites your soul but you're too fearful of sharing it, afraid of what people might think. It's that person you see just before you sleep, that glimpse of your true potential.
