Ponderous London.

In June of 2014 I travelled to London because I was invited by Knomo to test out their Knomad Mini, a sweet little all in one wallet to suit all your travel needs. I stayed over there for approximately 3 days. While I was in London I realised that it was very fast paced and everything was one mad rush, it's exactly what I expected and it didn't disappoint I just wish people would smile a lot more.

"Slow down and enjoy life. it’s not only the scenery you miss by going too fast - you also miss the sense of where you are going and why."

Eddie Cantor.

I then went home after those three days out in the big city and this was when it hit me... Imagine the large hectic city in slow motion. Everyone rushing everyone speeding but in slow motion wouldn't it look cool? Is Adil onto something? I then rendezvoused with my notebook and a cappuccino and began to jot my idea down onto paper (non-lined paper of course).  I believe once you have an idea the best thing to do is to jot it down on paper, this allows for more space in the brain for more ideas. Every time I plan a short film I always make sure there's meaning and substance behind it. I try and make sure it has a message, I don't think I've found the secret yet as I'm still new to this whole filmmaking gig but one day... So anyhow a year on and I've been invited to London for the awards ceremony, this was the perfect chance for me to execute this idea that has been in the back of my mind for a whole year. So after scrubbing through 200 clips of slow motion footage I present to you Ponderous - a short film by me, maybe it'll get featured in the London Film Festival, that would be great...

I really hope you enjoy this short film I put together. I hope I can generate some more ideas for some more films, I absolutely enjoy doing them (even when they don't turn out too good). If you want to check out my small library of short films check out my Vimeo.

THANK YOU. TILL NEXT TIME, ADIL.
