So I think it's about time I write a post on my travel essentials, it's been the most requested and it's something I've always planned on doing. So here goes... If travelling for a weekend or maybe for as long as a month, you'll have your essentials you just can't live without, below are some of mine. From my penny board to my Macbook...
Most of you know, I'm an avid Instagrammer and I always love to get images up on there as soon as possible, which is why I have to carry my Macbook, my Macbook has been my creative companion for as long as I can remember and I rarely leave the house without it. Alongside my Macbook there is my trusty G-Drive to keep all my content in one place and secure. For you geeks out there I opted for the 1TB model along with Thunderbolt for that extra speed. When I travel I have got to carry my Bang & Olufsen's with me, I wrote a blog post on them a while back, you can check that out here. I've really fell in love with the design of them and I have been using them for about 6 months now and they have stayed strong.
Of course I keep my main camera packed which is the Nikon D3200, I use a prime 50mm lens and keep the kit lens around for them wide shots, and it's also great for video. Last but not least on the tech side of things is my GoPro Hero 3 action camera, I bought this over the summer and took it to Dubai with me, it's an excellent piece of equipment and definitely a must have for those spontaneous adventures.
If you're wondering whats in that small bag, that my friends is called the Ultra Light Down and its by Uniqlo, its a basic vest which keeps me warm. I purchased it a few weeks ago and its turning out to be an excellent purchase. I love how it folds down into a carry case, which keeps things compact and portable. Bravo Uniqlo. I will be doing an outfit post on it soon so keep an eye out for that. Another thing I love taking on holiday is my trusty Penny Board you may have seen this on many of my Instagrams, I simply love it. It's so much fun while waiting for your flight in the airport or just browsing through the city streets. The watch I use wear when I travel is the Time Traveller by Mr Jones Watches, I love this because it works as a world clock and shows the time for many major cities. You can check the post about that here.
The aftershave of my choice is Only The Brave by Diesel, I think I just love how small it is and how I can just throw it inside and out of my bag, yes its glass but its really durable, I think I dropped the bottle one time and it didn't smash. Don't get me wrong that isn't the only reason, it smells really great too. My moisturiser of choice is the L'oréal Men Expert, it's my every day moisturiser and I cant leave without it.
My Moleskine is a must have, for sketching whilst bored or for taking notes. I always keep one in my bag because I never know when I'll need it. I also carry my Bellroy passport wallet with me, I wrote a blog post on that too, you can check that out here. The Bellroy is great at keeping the wallet slim while holding everything you need, plus much more. It's definitely a must have.
So all of these handy essentials are neatly tucked away in my trusty Herschel, I also blogged about that. Comment below some of your must have travel essentials.
